Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: November 1, 2026
Nain Music aims to provide a fair, transparent, and professional experience for customers, service providers, teachers, and other participants using the platform. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when an order, class, or service may be cancelled, rescheduled, or refunded.
Because Nain Music may provide different types of music services and live classes, refund decisions may depend on the type of service, the stage of the order, work already completed, and the circumstances of the cancellation.
1. General Refund Principle
A refund is not automatically available simply because a customer changes their mind or does not personally like the final creative result, provided the service has been delivered substantially according to the agreed scope.
Nain Music encourages customers and service providers to communicate and attempt to resolve issues before requesting cancellation or a refund. Where a refund is approved, the buyer will receive the applicable refundable amount after deduction of only actual, applicable, non-refundable payment processing and transaction charges.
2. Customer Cancellation Before Work Begins
An order may be cancelled by mutual agreement between the buyer and the service provider. Once the mutual cancellation is accepted and approved under Nain Music's policy, the order will be cancelled. The buyer will receive the remaining refundable amount after deduction of only actual, applicable, non-refundable payment processing and transaction charges. No fixed cancellation fee or percentage is applied. If cancellation is requested before meaningful work begins, the refundable amount may be higher because less work and fewer non-refundable charges may have been incurred.
3. Cancellation After Work Has Started
Customers should not assume that an order can be cancelled for a full refund after the provider has already spent significant time working on it. Where work has already been completed partly or substantially, the order may not qualify for a refund. If a refund is approved under this policy, the buyer will receive the applicable refundable amount after deduction of only actual, applicable, non-refundable payment processing and transaction charges.
4. Provider Cancellation or Non-Delivery
If a provider cancels an accepted service without an appropriate reason, fails to deliver the agreed service, or is unable to complete the service within the agreed arrangement, Nain Music may offer the customer: rescheduling of the service; assignment to another suitable provider, where available; or a refund, depending on the circumstances. If a refund is approved, the buyer will receive the applicable refundable amount after deduction of only actual, applicable, non-refundable payment processing and transaction charges.
5. Mixing & Mastering — Source Recording Quality
A good final mix starts with a good source recording. Customers are responsible for providing the cleanest and highest-quality audio files available. The final quality of mixing and mastering is directly affected by the quality of the original recording and performance.
Customers should provide recordings with suitable levels and, wherever possible, minimal background noise, distortion, clipping, unwanted room sound, microphone bleed, and other technical problems. Nain Music or the assigned audio professional will apply reasonable professional mixing, editing, tuning, noise reduction, and mastering techniques within the agreed service scope.
However, mixing and mastering cannot magically recreate information that was not captured correctly in the original recording. If the supplied recording contains heavy background or room noise, noise between words, excessive reverb, microphone bleed, distortion or clipping, poor recording quality, significant pitch problems, unwanted sounds already embedded in the recording, or other performance or recording defects, these problems may not be completely removable without negatively affecting the original audio.
More processing does not always mean a better result. Excessive noise reduction can damage consonants, breaths, vocal tails, texture, and natural tone. Excessive pitch correction can make a performance sound unnatural or introduce artifacts. Aggressive processing may damage dynamics or other musical characteristics.
A provider may explain that a requested correction cannot be taken further without materially damaging the audio and may decline that request. A defect already existing in the customer's source recording will not, by itself, constitute a failure of the mixing or mastering service, provided reasonable professional processing has been performed within the agreed scope. The better the recording provided, the better the professional can make the final result.
6. Revisions for Mixing, Mastering and Other Services
Where revisions are included in a service, they are limited to the agreed service scope and reasonable technical corrections. Revisions are not unlimited and do not mean that the original recording can be repeatedly altered until every customer preference is achieved. A revision request should relate to the agreed work and be technically achievable without unreasonable degradation. Requests requiring fundamentally different work, additional services, extensive source repair, or damaging processing may require an additional fee or may be declined.
7. Creative Differences
Music services can involve creative decisions regarding tone, balance, effects, arrangement, vocal treatment, dynamics, or overall sound. A difference in personal taste does not automatically mean that the service was defective. Customers should communicate their desired direction clearly. Where delivered work is substantially consistent with the agreed requirements, a refund will not automatically be granted solely because the customer later prefers a different creative direction.
8. Live Music Classes
Nain Music may offer live, topic-specific music classes conducted by independent teachers or professionals. Because these classes involve scheduled time reserved by the teacher: if the teacher cancels or fails to attend, the class may be rescheduled or a refund may be considered; if Nain Music or the teacher cannot provide the agreed class, an appropriate refund or rescheduling option may be offered; a customer who attends generally cannot demand a refund merely because they did not like the teaching style or expected a different learning experience; if a student misses a scheduled class because of their own circumstances, a refund is not automatically guaranteed, though rescheduling may be considered where reasonably possible. Any rescheduling arrangement should be agreed between the relevant parties.
9. Technical Problems During Live Classes
If a significant technical problem prevents the class from being delivered, Nain Music or the teacher may offer a rescheduled class. Where the class cannot reasonably be provided or rescheduled because of a technical failure attributable to the provider or platform arrangement, a refund may be considered. Minor interruptions or temporary technical problems that do not prevent substantial delivery will not automatically qualify for a full refund.
10. Digital or Delivered Work
Once a completed digital deliverable has been provided, cancellation or refund is not automatically available merely because the customer changes their mind. Any issue should first be communicated to the provider so it can be reviewed and, where appropriate, corrected within the agreed scope.
11. Customer-Provided Files and Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, appropriate source files, references, instructions, and other materials required. Delays or problems caused by missing, incorrect, corrupted, incomplete, or unsuitable customer-provided material may affect delivery and will not automatically qualify the customer for a refund.
12. Disputes Between Customer and Provider
Customers and providers should first attempt to resolve disagreements through direct communication. If unresolved, Nain Music may review the original order or service scope, customer requirements, files supplied, work delivered, revision requests, messages, class attendance or cancellation information, and other relevant circumstances. Nain Music may facilitate an appropriate resolution, subject to applicable law and the circumstances.
13. Refund Abuse and Chargebacks
Customers must not misuse cancellation, refund, or payment-dispute processes. A customer should not falsely claim that work was not delivered, intentionally misuse a payment dispute after receiving the agreed service, or repeatedly request refunds for properly provided services. Nain Music may restrict or suspend accounts where there is evidence of serious or repeated abuse, subject to applicable law.
14. Provider Payment, 7-Day Holding Period and Refund Adjustment
Nain Music follows a provider payment process designed to allow reasonable time for refund and cancellation-related requests to be reviewed before seller earnings are released.
7-Day Holding Period
After an order is marked as completed, the corresponding provider payout amount will remain on hold for 7 calendar days. This allows Nain Music to review refund or cancellation requests and related issues. The holding period does not mean every customer automatically qualifies for a refund; requests continue to be assessed under this policy.
Provider Payout After 7 Days
After the 7-calendar-day holding period ends, the provider's available payable earnings become eligible for payout, provided there is no pending refund request, unresolved dispute, chargeback, or other valid adjustment. Nain Music does not impose a minimum payout threshold. Providers may receive available payable earnings regardless of amount, including small balances. A provider does not need to wait for another customer, another order, or a fixed earnings target before receiving an eligible payout.
Pending Refunds or Disputes
If a refund request, cancellation issue, chargeback, or dispute remains unresolved, only the amount reasonably related to that pending matter may be withheld or adjusted until resolved. Remaining undisputed payable earnings should not be unnecessarily held because of an unrelated pending issue.
Manual Payout Process
During initial marketplace operation, provider payouts may be processed manually by Nain Music through the available payout method. The provider must supply accurate payout details where required. Once a payout is sent, Nain Music may record the payment date and transaction reference for tracking and verification. The payout method may be updated if Nain Music introduces an automated payment or settlement system in the future.
15. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, the time for money to reach the customer's account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card network, or other payment-processing system. Nain Music cannot guarantee the exact time taken by a third-party provider.
16. Circumstances Outside Nain Music's Control
Nain Music will not automatically be responsible for delays, cancellations, or inability to provide a service caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including serious technical failures, internet outages, platform failures, emergencies, or other unforeseen events. Where reasonably possible, Nain Music may offer rescheduling or another appropriate solution.
17. No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict rights or remedies a customer or other user may have under applicable law. Where applicable law provides a right to a refund, cancellation, complaint, or other remedy, this policy will not override that legal right.
18. Policy Changes
Nain Music may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its services, marketplace structure, payment systems, or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this website with a revised Last Updated date.
